ETH Belgrade returns for 2026, taking over Sava Centar on 26–27 August as the premier Ethereum event in the Balkans – and one of the two official conferences of Belgrade Blockchain Week. It’s a conference and a hackathon in one: two days of talks, workshops, and hands-on building for the Ethereum ecosystem.
A conference and a hackathon
ETH Belgrade pairs a main-stage program with a live hackathon, so the ideas on stage and the code being shipped happen side by side. It’s pitched as the most welcoming ETH event – built for developers, Web3 enthusiasts, and Ethereum believers to swap knowledge, ship projects, and find the people who’ll help bring them to life.
Who’s been on stage
Past editions have brought speakers from across the ecosystem – the Ethereum Foundation, Chainlink, Lido, Consensys, Curve, Nethermind, and OriginTrail among them – alongside the founders and engineers behind Belgrade’s own Web3 scene.
ETH Belgrade Ventures
ETH Belgrade Ventures is the startup-focused arm of the event – an exclusive track for fundraising startups running alongside the conference. Over the two days, selected startups present their solutions to leading investors, gain insights from web3 mentors, and connect with the wider Ethereum community, backed by Ventures’ mentorship and investor network.
Sava Centar, and a city full of builders
ETH Belgrade is held at Sava Centar – the brutalist landmark from 1976 and one of the largest congress centers in Europe. The host city is no accident: Belgrade is home to 50+ Web3 companies, with DeFi Saver, Tenderly, and Solflare all born here, making it one of Europe’s strongest and fastest-growing Web3 communities.
