Belgrade Blockchain Week 2026 brings the international Web3 community to the Serbian capital from 24–30 August. It’s a full week of conferences, hackathons, workshops, and side events organized by top companies and communities across the city – built around two main conferences, ETH Belgrade and Solana Summit Serbia.

The headliners

The week’s two anchors both run 26–27 August at Sava Centar. ETH Belgrade is the CEE region’s premier Ethereum conference and hackathon: two days of talks, workshops, and hands-on building dedicated to Ethereum and its ecosystem, drawing core developers, researchers, and builders from across Central and Eastern Europe. Solana Summit Serbia, organized by Superteam Balkan, is the first Solana Summit held in the country – a gathering of builders, validators, and the wider Solana community for talks, technical sessions, and networking. The two run side by side under one roof, putting the Ethereum and Solana ecosystems in the same building for the week’s main days.

A full slate of summits

ETH Belgrade and Solana Summit Serbia share Sava Centar with a cluster of focused summits over the same two days: the Rust Summit, the ZK Summit, the Web3 Security Summit, and the Agentic Web3 Summit – covering everything from zero-knowledge to security to onchain AI agents. After hours, the program moves to Karmakoma Club for community staples: the Belgrade edition of Proof of Rakija and the official ETH Belgrade and Superteam Balkan after-party.

A week, not just a weekend

Beyond the two conference days, independent events run throughout the week – meetups, workshops, dinners, and community gatherings hosted by companies and projects across Belgrade. Anyone organizing during the week can submit an event to be listed and promoted, and the calendar keeps growing as more get added.

Why Belgrade

Belgrade has quietly become one of the strongest Web3 hubs in Europe. The city of 1.5 million is home to 50+ Web3 companies, and some of the industry’s recognized names were built here – Tenderly, DeFi Saver, and Solflare among them. Beyond the teams founded locally, Serbian engineers and researchers contribute to the core of the wider ecosystem, from the Ethereum Foundation and Solana Foundation to Chainlink, Lido, and Nethermind. Belgrade Blockchain Week is where that depth of talent opens its doors to the rest of the world.
