ETHTokyo Week 2026 turns Tokyo into a city-wide Ethereum program from September 19–27. The week connects builders, researchers, artists, founders, institutions, public-goods contributors, and independent communities around Ethereum’s technical and cultural development in Japan.
ETHTokyo is built as a coordination layer for the local Ethereum ecosystem, not a single-venue conference. The 2026 edition includes community-led events, conferences, workshops, meetups, dinners, hackathons, and Ethereum-adjacent gatherings across Tokyo.
The focus is on credible, open, and permissionless spaces for people working on programmable, verifiable, privacy-preserving, and decentralized systems.
The public schedule includes Agentic Summit on September 23, Ethereum Institutional Summit on September 25, and ETHGlobal Tokyo from September 25–27 at Toranomon Hills Forum.
The wider calendar also connects with ZuCity Japan Annual Popup City in Komoro and POST-TOKYO, giving attendees options before and after the main Tokyo week.
ETHTokyo brings together different parts of the Ethereum ecosystem through a shared cypherpunk ethos and optimism for the future. The week is designed for people building infrastructure, applications, public goods, privacy tools, research communities, and cultural projects around Ethereum.
