Agentic Summit brings the AI agent economy conversation to UTokyo Ito Hall in Tokyo on September 23, 2026. The one-day conference focuses on how autonomous AI agents can transact, settle, negotiate, and operate safely when they begin handling real economic activity.
The central question is not only what AI agents can do, but how their actions can be authorized, verified, audited, and constrained. The program focuses on the trust foundations needed before agentic systems can move deeper into finance, commerce, enterprise operations, public infrastructure, and other high-stakes environments.
Topics include authentication, authorization, safety, auditability, agent identity, and the systems needed to check what an agent did, who allowed it, and whether the result can be trusted.
The agenda is expected to cover Enterprise Agents, Know Your Agent, Agentic Commerce, AI and intellectual property, Autonomous Finance, and the darker risk surface of AI agents.
The main program is complemented by practitioner-focused sessions, including AI agent demos, post-quantum cryptography migration, yen-denominated stablecoin payments, and networking for researchers, builders, security teams, and people working on agent infrastructure.
Agentic Summit is scheduled from 11:00 to 18:00 at the University of Tokyo’s Ito Hall, located in Bunkyo City. The venue has capacity for around 1,000 attendees.
The conference sits inside ETHTokyo Week 2026, a city-wide Ethereum week with conferences, workshops, meetups, hackathons, and community-led events across Tokyo.
Agentic Summit is led by Nyx Foundation and Fracton Ventures. Nyx Foundation is a Tokyo-based research organization focused on Ethereum, blockchain security, formal verification, and protocol safety. Fracton Ventures supports Ethereum and Web3 ecosystems through research, community programs, and venture-building work.
