Cowork with ETHGlobal in Barcelona with ETH Spain is a community meetup taking place on July 16, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in Barcelona. It’s the first ETH Spain meetup in the city, bringing together developers, founders, and crypto enthusiasts for an evening of talks, networking, and coworking. The agenda opens with an introduction to ETH Spain – the umbrella ecosystem unifying Ethereum’s technical community, researchers, and EVM builders across Spain. It also builds anticipation for ETHGlobal Lisbon, the hackathon taking place in Portugal on July 24–26.
The session also features a segment from special collaborator Zcash en Español, introducing Zcash as an open-source, privacy-focused cryptocurrency built on zk-SNARKs for shielded transactions, and presenting the Club Zcash Barcelona and its work around privacy education, cypherpunk culture, and open-source tooling.
