On April 14–15, 2026, Moscow hosted Blockchain Forum 2026 at Crocus Expo.

The event brought together 16,388 participants across crypto, digital assets, and artificial intelligence. Over time, the forum has become one of the main coordination points for the CIS market, with increasing participation from international teams looking to understand and access the region.

The audience reflected that mix. Founders, investors, banks, infrastructure providers, and public sector representatives were all present. The forum concentrates different layers of the ecosystem into the same physical space, which is where most of its value comes from.

For teams operating outside the region, access is usually fragmented. Here, it’s direct. For local players, it’s one of the few moments each year where global capital and attention are physically present in Moscow.

Government Participation and Regulatory Alignment

This year placed strong emphasis on regulatory dialogue and infrastructure development.

Representatives from the Central Bank of Russia, the State Duma, the Ministry of Energy, and the Ministry of Digital Development took part in discussions focused on how digital assets are being integrated into the broader economic framework.

Topics included:

  • evolving regulatory structures
  • energy and infrastructure considerations
  • financial system integration
  • operational constraints for businesses

These discussions ran in parallel with industry participation, with operators, investors, and institutions in the same rooms throughout the program.

At the same time, major Russian technology and financial companies were present across the venue. Yandex, Sber, Alfa-Bank, T-Bank, and MTS all had visibility during the forum.

The interaction between crypto companies and established infrastructure players was visible across panels, meetings, and the expo floor.

Speakers, Capital, and Market Perspectives

The speaker lineup included founders, executives, investors, and public sector representatives.

Errol Musk, entrepreneur and investor in AI and digital assets, shared his perspective on technological development and long-term market evolution.

Garrett Bullish, a large-scale crypto investor, focused on the current market cycle and the factors influencing its direction.

Across sessions, discussions focused on execution and market structure:

  • infrastructure and application layers
  • capital allocation
  • distribution and user acquisition
  • regulatory pressure and adaptation

These topics reflected current priorities for teams building and operating in the space.

AI Future Forum

The program included the first large-scale AI Future Forum, a dedicated track exploring the role of artificial intelligence in the digital economy.

Participants included representatives from Rosatom, NTI, the State Duma, and private sector organizations.

Sessions covered infrastructure, compute, and applied use cases, with multiple discussions touching on how AI systems integrate with financial and data layers connected to Web3.

Meetings, Negotiations, and Deal Flow

Outside the stage program, the forum functioned as a high-density networking environment.

Over two days, participants held meetings, negotiations, and follow-ups across the venue. The format — combining conference sessions, expo space, and open networking areas — allows for continuous interaction without strict separation between content and meetings.

Founders met investors. Infrastructure providers connected with partners. Service providers engaged with potential clients. A large portion of activity took place between sessions, in smaller group conversations and one-on-one meetings.

The event concluded with an official afterparty, where participants continued conversations in a more informal setting. The evening featured a live performance by L’One, with the same core group of attendees extending discussions beyond the main program.

Ecosystem Contributors

Promminer and CoinW were among the companies that supported the forum.

Promminer operates as an ecosystem focused on industrial mining solutions, including equipment supply, data center construction, mining pools, and monitoring systems.

CoinW, active since 2017, offers spot and futures trading, Earn products, and ETF trading.

What’s Next

The next Blockchain Life event is scheduled for December 1–2, 2026 in Dubai.

Registration is already open for the next Moscow edition as well.

If you’re looking to access the CIS market without layers in between, this is one of the few rooms where that’s possible.
