Blockchain for NGOs is a closed-door workshop taking place on May 26, 2026 at Epicenter in Stockholm, held during the Nordic Blockchain Conference. It is hosted and moderated by the Nordic Blockchain Association, building on six months of work with Danish NGOs exploring practical uses of the technology. The session focuses on where blockchain can add real value in areas such as funding transparency, digital identity, climate accountability, and cross-border coordination. Discussion covers implementation lessons, governance safeguards, and partnership models. Speakers include Burcu Marvis of UNDP AltFinLab and Arun Maharajan of UNICEF. Participation is open to NGO representatives across the Nordics.
