NottsHack 2026 runs April 6–12 and is hosted by the Computer Science Society at University of Nottingham Malaysia.

The hackathon is structured in two phases. The online phase runs April 6–11 and includes the opening ceremony, pre-hackathon workshops, and five days of remote development. The in-person phase takes place April 11–12 on campus, where teams continue building, receive mentorship, present projects to judges, and take part in the final awards ceremony.

Teams of 3–5 participants compete across three sponsor tracks. The Blockchain for Good Alliance (BGA) track focuses on real-world use cases such as financial inclusion, supply chains, digital identity, and public infrastructure. The DCAI track centers on applications built on its L3 infrastructure, including web apps, AI tools, games, dashboards, and developer tooling. The Dash track focuses on payment systems, dApps, and consumer applications using Dash’s network and platform.

Each track includes a dedicated prize pool awarded to top teams. The program also includes mentorship sessions, workshops, and ongoing guidance from industry participants throughout the event.
