Startup Village Borneo takes place from September 5–9 in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.

Presented by Superteam Malaysia and co-organized with Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation, the event is a five-day startup program for builders working in and around the Solana ecosystem. It brings together international founders, digital nomads, and Malaysian talent for an immersive program focused on product development, user discovery, storytelling, traction, and investor readiness.

The format is not a traditional hackathon. Participants work across the week to define a problem, build a product, test it with real users in Kuching, refine the pitch, and present at Demo Day. The program is designed to help builders leave with a shipped product, early users, a stronger narrative, and direct connections across the Solana ecosystem.

Mentors and judges are expected from organizations including the Solana Foundation, Superteam, Solflare, AppWorks, Superscrypt, and Network School. The week includes firesides, mentorship, Demo Day preparation, and access to ecosystem partners and investors.

Startup Village Borneo also connects into the Colosseum Fall season, giving participating teams a chance to use the product, traction, and pitch developed during the program as a foundation for their next submission.
