₿TheChange, the Scottish Bitcoin Conference, takes place on August 29–30 in Glasgow. The main conference runs on Saturday, August 29, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Glasgow University Union, 32 University Ave, G12 8LX.
The event brings together Bitcoin educators, developers, builders, treasury-focused attendees, and newcomers for a community-driven program on Bitcoin, sovereignty, and economic resilience. The format includes talks, panels, Q&A sessions, networking, and opportunities to meet speakers across the day.
From the Bitcoin Walk to the main stage
The Saturday program begins with an optional Bitcoin Walk at 9:00 AM, leaving from the Duke of Wellington Statue and heading through Kelvingrove Park toward Glasgow University.
The conference opens with a welcome from Dr. Peter Connor, followed by a full day of Bitcoin-focused talks. The agenda is built to serve both experienced Bitcoiners and attendees who are still learning the basics, with the event positioned as accessible rather than only technical.
