Raingentic Commerce Hackathon NYC runs August 8–9 in New York. Hosted by Encode Club, Rain Events, and Monad Foundation, the two-day in-person hackathon focuses on agentic commerce and practical use cases built with Rain and Monad.

The challenge is to build a working use case that uses Rain and connects to agentic commerce. Teams will have access to opening sessions, a Rain technical workshop, a Monad technical session, build time, mentor support, office hours, project submissions, judging, and final demos.

The hackathon is designed for experienced engineers, especially builders in New York with fintech, infrastructure, AI, commerce, or developer tooling experience. Applicants should be comfortable working in a focused weekend format and building product-minded prototypes with technical support from the Rain and Monad teams.

Prizes include a dinner with Rain founders and hiring opportunities. The optional Monad bounty awards the best Monad implementation with a Mac Mini and six months of access to The Studio by Monad Foundation in New York.
