Organized around AI agents and orchestration systems, the hackathon focuses on building applications that can reason, plan, and execute multi-step tasks under human supervision. Participants build using Google Cloud technologies including Gemini 3, Google Cloud Agent Builder, and the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Rather than using a single prize pool, the competition is divided into partner-specific tracks tied to infrastructure and tooling providers including Arize AI, Elastic, Fivetran, GitLab, and MongoDB. Projects are expected to integrate at least one partner technology through MCP.
Submission requirements include a functional agent, public open-source repository, demo video, and completed Devpost submission. The event is open globally and structured for both experienced developers and newer participants.
