Aleph Hackathon takes place on August 22–23, 2026 as an online and IRL hackathon connected through global chapters.
Hosted by Crecimiento, the event brings together developers, designers, students, and builders for a two-day sprint focused on forming teams, building projects, and presenting working demos. The format is designed around practical output, with teams building against shared challenges and presenting their work to a jury.
The hackathon is part of Aleph Week, a four-day program in Buenos Aires running from August 20–23. LATAM Digital Assets Conf takes place on August 20–21, followed by Aleph Hackathon on August 22–23. Each event runs independently while contributing to the same broader week of technology programming.
Online and IRL chapters
Aleph Hackathon uses a distributed chapter format rather than a single-venue model. Builders can participate online or gather at IRL chapters organized by local communities.
The chapter model connects independent local hubs to the same global event timeline, challenges, jury, and prize structure. Previous chapters have taken place across cities including Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Rosario, Mendoza, Salta, San Juan, La Plata, Mar del Plata, Misiones, La Paz, Cochabamba, Santa Cruz, Lima, Cuenca, Medellín, Valencia, Santiago, Recife, Cartago, Accra, Kilifi, and Ikorodu.
The format is intended to make the hackathon accessible to builders across Latin America and other regions, while keeping each chapter tied to one shared event.
Hosted by Crecimiento
Crecimiento is the foundation behind Aleph Hackathon. The organization works on Argentina’s technology ecosystem by connecting builders, startups, investors, international partners, regulators, programs, events, physical spaces, and curated networks.
The hackathon builds on Argentina’s active builder ecosystem and positions the event as a regional and global sprint for people working on new technology projects.
